The Powerball jackpot for Monday’s drawing increased to $650 million after no one won the game on Saturday, according to the lottery.
According to Powerball officials, a Powerball winner will have an estimated $328.2 million cash option, before taxes, which would be the ninth-highest Powerball prize on record and the second largest Powerball jackpot of 2023.
The lucky Powerball winning numbers for Saturday’s drawing were 7, 23, 24, 32, 42, with 18 as the Powerball.
Three tickets, one from California, one from Colorado, and one from Illinois, matched all five white balls to win $1 million.
The next drawing is on July 10th.
The Powerball was last won on April 19, with an Ohio ticket winning a grand prize of $252.6 million. According to the lottery, the following 34 draws have not produced a winner.
In November 2022, a single ticket won a $2.04 billion jackpot, the largest-ever jackpot in Powerball history.
How To Play Powerball
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday evening, Powerball draws takes place, with players required to select five main numbers ranging from 1 to 69 and one Powerball ranging from 1 to 26.
There is also the option to pay an extra price for Power Play. Before the main game, you have to pick a Power Play number of 2, 3, 4, 5, or 10 and non-jackpot rewards are doubled by that amount. The exception is the second-tier reward of $1 million, which is restricted at $2 million regardless of multiplier. The 10x Power Play is only available when the announced jackpot is less than $150 million.
Players can win prizes simply by matching the Powerball. Players can win Powerball jackpot if they match all five main numbers plus the Powerball. The top prize begins at $20 million and rolls over if not won.
