The Nexon EV has a top speed of 150 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 8.9 seconds. It comes with three driving modes which are: Eco, City, and Sport. From the previous version’s 12000 RPM limit, the motor may now reach 16000 RPM. It has a power output of 106.4 kW and 2500 Nm of torque at the wheels. Up to 750 RPM, a wide range of speeds is supported by the flat torque. The passenger in this reintroduced Nexon EV feels less noise, vibration, and harness (NVH).

The battery in the Nexon is an LFP-based battery that can withstand more thermal stress and liquid cooling technology is provided. Tata Nexon has used its ZIP Tron powertrain technology in this version as well. Charging speed is provided with 7.2kW for both variants and DC fast charging allows 10-90% of the battery to be charged in 56 minutes.
