G20 Summit 2023 On Friday, leaders from the world’s top economies will arrive in India for a two-day G20 summit. The national capital of Delhi has been decked out in preparation for the G20 Summit, which will be held on September 9-10. The major venue of this gala event, Pragati Maidan’s Bharat Mandapam, has been lighted and decorated with plants, flowers, and other celebratory objects. At night, a 28 foot tall Nataraja statue looked to sparkle. The optimistic motto “One Earth, One Family, One Future” coined by India for the G20 Summit 2023. The G20 consists of up of 19 countries plus the European Union, accounting for approximately 85% of global GDP and two-thirds of the world’s population.

G20 Summit 2023 Preparation
IMD Issues Specialised Weather Forecast
According to PTI, the India Meteorological Department has established an additional automatic weather station near Pragati Maidan, the G20 Summit venue, to give specialized and real-time weather forecasts in preparation for the high-level event.
On Thursday morning, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) will commence round-the-clock weather monitoring for the summit.
The weather office will provide customised weather updates and forecasts, which will be available on the IMD website at mausam.imd.gov.in/g20.
The website will provide real-time data from a newly installed automatic weather station (AWS) near the G20 Summit venue, providing exact information on air temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, and rainfall.
The data keeps refreshing after every 15 minutes to ensure that users get the most accurate and up-to-date weather information.
