The Deccan Education Society established Fergusson College in Pune in 1895 and it began operations the same year. This nation-building university offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degree programmes. The college offers undergraduate B.A. programmes in fifteen courses and B.Sc. programmes in thirteen subjects, all of which are taught by faculty members of the arts and sciences.
